When Kingshurst Sporting U9's slotted home 8 goals against Redditch, all hope of Glades Rangers finishing top of the table (although the hopes had been rather small) vanished out of the nearest proverbial window.
North Birmingham Celtic managed to beat Rubery 4- 2, but have now finished their season. They are now on level points with the Glades Rangers. BUT FOLKS, the Glades have 19 more in the goal difference stakes and they would have to loose by an absolutely huge margin in their last game against Hamstead to fall from second spot.
It might be classed as "tempting fate" but ... well done lads on gaining the promotion !!!!
And, from me, a real "well done" to Paul Donlon. I obviously gave the Director of Football Special Award to the right bloke last season. All you work that Andy Le Butt and yourself have put in has really paid off. "Onward and Upward", guys !
