The Under 11's last game of the 2007-2008 season was at home and their opponents were Building Futures. With expectancy high of the team being promoted, the lads just had to get all three points in this match and they did not disappoint as they rammed in five goals to cut their opponents future down to size.

True that BF did manage to stop the Glades from keeping a clean sheet, but the Glades dominated proceedings, especially in the second half, with some superior football and a real will to win. Everything that has been promised throughout the season was on show in this game and the manager, Darren, was rightly proud of his team. Well done, lads.

Now they must sit back and watch the teams below them and see what they do to each other. With Glades on top of the division, in their final week of competition, it is up to the teams below to win their games in hand to overhaul them. Sad to say, it is possible that Glades could finish as low as fourth ! Hopefully, that will not be the case and, with teams likely to take points from each other, the lads can still finish at least second.

There is a mass of potential for next season, at Under 12's, and it will be a boost to the lads confidence if they gain the promotion that they richly deserve.

Again, to the lads and their manager, well done !
